China (Chongqing)-Africa Cooperation Conference and Exhibition on Economic and Trade Cooperation with Africa was held in Chongqing 29 African countries’ envoys to China came to Chongqing to seek development opportunities.
On the morning of December 3, the China (Chongqing)-Africa Cooperation Conference and the Africa Economic and Trade Cooperation Exhibition were held in Chongqing. Wang Kuiwan, Deputy Secretary-General of Chongqing Municipal Government, and diplomatic envoys of 29 African countries to China attended the meeting. Li Qian, Director of the Foreign Affairs Office of Chongqing Municipal Government presided over.
The head of the African diplomatic mission to China and the Cameroonian ambassador to China Mbana said in a speech that through yesterday’s visit to Chongqing, the African diplomatic envoys to China felt the huge potential for cooperation between Africa and Chongqing. China’s achievements today provide experience for African countries to solve the problems they are currently facing in their development. As we all know, there is not only trade cooperation between Africa and China, but also cultural exchanges and cooperation. It is hoped that Africa and China will tap more cooperation potential and establish closer cooperative relations after the 2018 Beijing Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation.
